DMV Road Testing
We offer Testing at the school to students. Once you have completed the DMV requirements, you are able to take your road test. We can also provide a vehicle for you to use for your road test at any DMV.
For 16-17 year olds: Once you have completed the required driver training and have held your permit at least 120 days (commercial/secondary) or 180 days (home-training) you are ready to continue the testing process, which includes a road test.
For anyone 18 and over: Once you have completed the Mandatory 8 hour Drug and Alcohol Safe Driving Practices class and have held your license for at least 90 days you are ready to continue the testing process, which includes a road test.
In order to test you must present the following:
- Your learner's permit to the DMV Agent on your scheduled road test date. If you do not present the permit, you will not be tested. *glasses/contacts if you have a B restriction
- Completed Application for Driver License (form R-229). Your qualified trainer must sign the Application for Driver License (form R-229) verifying that all driver education/practice driving requirements have been fulfilled.
- CS-1 Driver Education Certificate verifying completion of driver training.
When you pass the road test, you must wait 24 hours before going on the DMV website to pay for your license. Once you make the payment, DMV will mail your license to your home. If you fail the Road Test you must pay the Fees and wait at least 14 days to be retested.
